Dashrendr ("we," "us," "our") provides an embedded analytics and dashboard platform for developers and SaaS teams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and organization details.

Connected data sources
If you connect a data source (Google Analytics, Google Sheets, Google Drive, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Xero, or REST API), we store the connection metadata needed to fetch your data — such as OAuth tokens and connection credentials. We use this to render the dashboards you configure.

Billing information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles that directly. We retain billing metadata such as your plan and subscription status.

Usage data
We log dashboard renders and API requests for billing, quota enforcement, and service reliability, via Google Cloud Logging.

Site analytics
Our marketing site and portal use Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic. We show a cookie consent banner, and you can opt out of analytics cookies through that banner or your browser settings.

2. How We Use Google User Data

If you connect Google Analytics, Google Sheets, or Google Drive, we request the following read-only OAuth scopes:

  • analytics.readonly — to fetch your Analytics data for dashboard rendering
  • spreadsheets.readonly — to read data from Sheets you choose to connect
  • drive.readonly — to locate and access Sheets files you select

We use this data solely to render the dashboards you configure. We do not sell, share, or use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine learning models. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or your Dashrendr account settings.

3. How We Share Information

We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate Dashrendr:

  • Google Cloud Platform — hosting, storage, and logging infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Microsoft 365 — email delivery
  • Data source providers you explicitly connect (including Google, database connectors, and Xero)

Email delivery (account notifications, password resets, and scheduled dashboard reports) is sent via Microsoft 365, our email delivery provider. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

When you delete your account, we delete your data and records, including connected-source credentials. We retain your email address only to prevent abuse of our free trial (for example, to detect repeat trial signups). No other account data is retained after deletion.

5. Data Security

We follow Google Cloud Platform security best practices, including access controls and secure credential storage.

6. Your Rights (EU/UK — GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

7. Your Rights (California — CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we collect and how it's used
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data — we do not sell personal data

8. Cookies

We use cookies for Google Analytics on our marketing site and portal. You'll see a cookie consent banner when you first visit, and you can manage or withdraw consent at any time through that banner or your browser settings.
