Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Dashrendr ("Dashrendr," "we," "us," or "our"), a customer analytics and embedded dashboard platform available at dashrendr.com and its related services (collectively, the "Service").

Dashrendr is operated by Paloma Gallego Ortiz, an Australian sole trader (ABN 82 406 648 354), based in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, in which case "you" refers to that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Dashrendr provides a visual-first embedded analytics platform that allows you to build, host, and embed customer-facing dashboards. Data can be supplied to Dashrendr either by connecting a supported data source (currently: Google Analytics, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Google Sheets) or by pushing data directly via our REST API.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, and we may add new connectors or remove existing ones. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your existing dashboards.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dashrendr.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3.4 Sign-in with Google

You may create or access your account using Google Sign-In. If you sign in with Google using an email address that matches an existing Dashrendr account, that Google login will be linked to your existing account.

4. Plans, Billing & Payment

4.1 Pricing Tiers

Dashrendr is offered on the following subscription plans, as described on our pricing page:

  • Hobby — $6/month (1 dashboard)
  • Starter — $15/month (15 dashboards)
  • Grow — $39/month (50 dashboards, no watermark)
  • Premium — $99/month (unlimited dashboards)

We may change pricing or plan features from time to time. If we change pricing for your active plan, we'll give you reasonable advance notice before the change takes effect.

4.2 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full feature access and no credit card required. At the end of the trial period, you'll need to select a paid plan to continue using the Service beyond trial usage limits.

4.3 Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly (or annual, where offered) basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Dashrendr does not store your credit card number or payment details — all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that time. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

4.5 Failed Payment

If a payment fails, your account status will be updated to reflect the failed payment. Access to paid features may be suspended immediately upon a failed or lapsed payment, without a grace period. You can restore access by updating your payment method and completing payment.

4.6 Usage Limits

Each plan includes a dashboard limit as described above. We reserve the right to enforce these limits, including by restricting further dashboard creation once your plan's dashboard limit is reached.

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you connect to, push to, or store within Dashrendr ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership over Your Data.

5.2 License to Us

You grant us a limited license to access, process, cache, and display Your Data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you (for example, rendering dashboards, caching query results to improve performance, and delivering scheduled reports you configure).

5.3 How We Handle Your Data

  • Live queries and caching: When you connect a database or data source, we query it live and temporarily cache results to improve performance. Cache duration varies by source (typically 15 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the connector).
  • Rendered dashboard snapshots: When a dashboard is rendered, we store the rendered configuration and data snapshot for up to 1 hour for standard renders, or longer for dashboards you explicitly publish.
  • Scheduled reports: If you configure scheduled email reports, the report link included in the email remains accessible for up to 7 days from delivery. Anyone with access to that link can view the report during that window — you are responsible for controlling who receives scheduled report emails.
  • Credentials: Database passwords, connection strings, and OAuth tokens for connected data sources are encrypted and stored securely using Google Cloud Secret Manager.
  • Deletion: When you delete a dashboard, its associated rendered data is deleted from our systems. When you delete your account, we delete your dashboards, connections, credentials, and related data, except for limited records (such as your email address and deletion date) that we retain to prevent abuse of our free trial.

5.4 Third-Party Data Sources

When you connect a third-party data source (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Sheets, BigQuery), you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that data with Dashrendr and that your use complies with the third party's own terms of service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law;
  • Resell or white-label the Service beyond what is expressly permitted by your plan;
  • Use the Service to process data you do not have the legal right to process (including data protected by privacy laws where you lack a valid legal basis).

7. Suspension & Termination

7.1 By You

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time.

7.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

  • Immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have engaged in fraud, abuse, non-payment, or a serious violation of these Terms, or if required to comply with law;
  • With reasonable notice, for other breaches of these Terms, giving you a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue where practical.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will handle Your Data upon termination as described in Section 5.3.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Dashrendr and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

WE DO NOT CURRENTLY OFFER TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION OR CAPTCHA-BASED BOT PROTECTION ON ACCOUNT LOGIN. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR USING A STRONG, UNIQUE PASSWORD FOR YOUR ACCOUNT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DASHRENDR'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DASHRENDR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dashrendr harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Data, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these Terms or negligence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (such as by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and Dashrendr agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia for any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
